Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and confidential EMR and resident charts.
• Ensure medical records are complete, and compliant with HIPAA and policies.
• File, scan, retrieve, and maintain patient documentation.
• Assist with audits, admissions, discharges, and record retention procedures.
• Support administrators, nurses, and clinical staff with documentation requests.
• Schedule and coordinate resident transportation to appointments and services.
• Communicate with vendors, providers, residents, and families to ensure timely transport.
• Track transportation schedules and records of appointments.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage central supply inventory, PPE, and facility materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and submit orders for stock.
• Receive, organize, distribute, and track supplies facility-wide.
• Maintain clean, organized supply rooms and compliant procedures.
• Assist with inventory control, purchasing, and cost management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care.
