Job summary

You will travel to Houston, Bryan, and Livingston, TX, supervise performance, and coordinate with hospital staff to maintain workflow, accuracy, and timely ROI activities while upholding MRO’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year supervisory/management experience in an acute care setting.
• HIPAA privacy information standards knowledge.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manages workflow among on-site employees to maximize productivity and quality.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover peak periods and vacancies.
• Provides coverage during backlogs, illness, vacation or leave of absence of medical record staff.
• Performs quality assurance monitoring of ROI Specialists.
• Conducts productivity and work performance reviews for ROI Specialists in accordance with policies and law.
• Monitors performance and approves paid time off and schedules for all staff.
• Promotes respectful customer service toward patients, co-workers, and medical center personnel.
