Ideal candidates hold a health information management or related degree, have supervisory experience in acute care, and are proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory/management experience in acute care setting.
• HIPAA privacy information standards knowledge.
• Degree(s) in health information management, business administration or related field preferred.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manages workflow among on-site employees to ensure productivity and quality.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover peak periods, leave and vacancies at hospital sites.
• Provides coverage in event of backlogs, illness, vacation or leave of absence of medical record staff.
• Performs Quality Assurance monitoring of work performance for ROI Specialists.
• Conducts productivity and work performance reviews for ROI Specialists per policies and federal/state law.
• Monitors performance and provides feedback and schedules, including PTO approvals.
