Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in nursing; master's in nursing preferred or in progress.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities.
• BLS certification is required.
• Current clinical license in Illinois.
• Magnet-recognized certification for specialty area.
• Preferred: minimum 3 years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments and locations with 24/7 accountability.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and annual/mid-year reviews to team members.
• Budget development and monitoring; explain variances and corrective actions.
• Ensure policies meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate patient care per age-specific needs and resources.
