Job summary

SCA Health in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide comprehensive business office support for a surgical center. You will oversee Human Resources, Medical Records, Credentialing, Admissions, Billing, and month-end reporting, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.

Your leadership will supervise non-medical staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with the billing company and facility vendors.

Qualifications

Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred, or HS diploma with equivalent experience.
5 years experience in a medically-related environment; surgery center experience a plus.
Supervisor of non-medical teammates required.
Medical terminology knowledge required.
Experience with patient admissions, scheduling and medical office operations.
Understanding of how insurance processes work including verification.
Computer experience: Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software.
Experience with SharePoint and SurveyMonkey preferred but not required.
Good communication skills and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support to the facility by performing various business office functions.
Coordinate the Business Office team and functions to ensure smooth operations.
Direct supervision of non-medical personnel, including orientation and evaluations.
Manage human resource procedures and payroll processes.
Act as liaison with billing company and building maintenance contractors.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and accounts payable processes.
Support clinical director and administrator to optimize center operations.
Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
