Job summary

Spine Care Center in Layton, UT is seeking a Healthcare Office Assistant to support our clinical team. You will assist with patient check-ins, therapy support, and front-office tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; healthcare/admin training is a plus.
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare support role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems (Chirotouch) is a plus.
• Comfortable assisting patients directly and working as part of a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician, nurse practitioner, and PT in preparing for and supporting patient appointments and therapy sessions.
• Help patients through their therapy routines under clinical staff direction, including setup and guidance on exercises.
• Greet and check in patients, manage scheduling, and coordinate appointments and follow-ups.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the clinic’s system.
• Handle phone calls, patient inquiries, insurance verification, and general front-office tasks.
• Support the clinical team with day-to-day administrative and patient-flow needs.
• Uphold patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and clinic policies.
