Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a detail‑oriented Materials Coordinator to coordinate supply needs on a routine basis, order and stock supplies, and provide administrative support across Receiving, Distribution, Central Service, Linen, Par Stock, Copy Center and Mailroom. The role emphasizes inventory control, data entry, and customer service, with weekend/evening/holiday shifts as needed.

• Experience in materials management or inventory control in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsibilities

• Inventories and maintains adequate supply levels. Maintains inventory control, ordering supplies and specialty equipment.
• Interacts with internal and external customers about availability and product identification.
• Orders, receives supplies and stocks/delivers to assigned location; verifies packing slips and documentation.
• Maintains department statistics, charges for stock requests, updates documents as needed.
• Performs other duties including weekends, evenings, holidays, and shifts as assigned.
