National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Materials Management Coordinator to support the Director of Materials Management in operating the department efficiently and cost-effectively. You will manage vendor relationships, analyze market conditions, and maintain inventory controls across designated areas.

The role requires strong communication skills, experience in materials handling or purchasing, and the ability to work with Paragon systems.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and handle stress in a positive manner.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital departments.
• Walk, stand, sit, and lift/move materials per job requirements.

Aufgaben

• Establishes and maintains contacts with vendors and suppliers.
• Uses MMIS to track supply usage and streamline procurement and service departments.
• Analyzes market conditions and data; interviews vendors and reviews catalogs for purchases.
• Reviews and recommends new supplies and equipment.
• Directs year-end inventories and reconciles discrepancies.
• Maintains procedures for emergency management, life safety, and infection control.
• Works with Paragon applications and supports purchasing operations.
• Performs cross-training in the Purchasing office.
