Job summary

Latitude is seeking an experienced Healthcare Litigation Associate for a boutique Boston firm with a hybrid schedule. You will manage the full litigation lifecycle, advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters, and handle internal investigations for a diverse healthcare client base.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of healthcare litigation experience, MA bar or ability to waive in, and excellent academic credentials, with prior law firm or in-house experience.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience with the full litigation lifecycle, including depositions, brief writing, subpoena response, trial preparation, and ADR
Healthcare litigation experience strongly preferred
Experience handling internal investigations and administrative matters (state/federal investigations, rate/audit appeals, licensure proceedings)
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance law strongly preferred
Ability to provide practical legal advice on regulatory, compliance, licensing and certification, incident response and risk management in healthcare
Strong oral and written communication skills with clear legal writing and analysis
Experience at a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house legal team
Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
MA Bar licensure or ability to waive in is required

Healthcare Litigation Associate (Full-Time, Permanent – Hybrid, Boston)

Latitude is seeking an experienced litigation attorney with a background in healthcare for a boutique law firm in downtown Boston. This is an opportunity to join a well-established Healthcare and Litigation practice, work on sophisticated matters, and take on meaningful responsibility for both litigation and client counseling for a wide range of healthcare clients.

If you are a business-minded attorney looking to grow your practice over the long term with a collegial firm, this might be the role for you.

This role is hybrid, onsite three days per week in downtown Boston.

Requirements For The Healthcare Litigation Associate

6+ years of experience with the full litigation lifecycle, including depositions, brief writing, subpoena response, trial preparation, and alternative dispute resolution
Healthcare litigation experience strongly preferred
Experience handling internal investigations and administrative matters, such as state and federal investigations, rate and audit appeals, and licensure proceedings
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance law strongly preferred
Ability to provide practical legal advice on regulatory, compliance, licensing and certification, incident response and risk management in the healthcare space
Strong oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to provide clear and concise legal writing and analysis
Experience at a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house legal team
Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
MA Bar licensure or the ability to waive in is required

Position Details Of The Healthcare Litigation Associate

Type of role: Associate, permanent hire
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Hybrid, onsite Monday - Wednesday in Downtown Boston office

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $225,000 based on experience and productivity level. Attorneys who bill beyond the firm’s reasonable billable expectations have the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on a firm-wide formula.
