Latitude is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate for a full-time, permanent hybrid role in downtown Boston. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of full-cycle litigation experience and deep knowledge of federal and Massachusetts employment laws, including wage/hour, leave, and discrimination issues.

The role combines sophisticated litigation with client counseling and business-minded advice. Hybrid schedule requires onsite three days per week in Boston with strong client relationship potential

Employment Litigation Associate (Full-Time, Permanent - Hybrid, Boston)

Latitude is seeking an experienced litigation attorney with a background in employment law for a boutique law firm. This is an opportunity to join a well-established Employment and Litigation practice, work on sophisticated matters, and take on meaningful responsibility for both litigation and client counseling.

This role is hybrid, onsite three days per week in downtown Boston.

Requirements For The Employment Litigation Associate

• 4+ years of full-cycle litigation experience in federal, state and administrative venues, including administrative claims, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions practice, trial preparation and alternative dispute resolution
• Employment litigation experience and knowledge of federal and Massachusetts employment laws – including FLSA, ADA, PFML, Earned Sick Time, and pay equity and transparency laws –
• strongly preferred
• Experience providing practical, business-minded advice on employment issues preferred. Typical issues include wage and hour, leaves of absence, accommodations, discrimination and retaliation, restrictive covenants and employment agreements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with colleagues and build lasting client relationships
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to provide clear and concise legal writing and analysis
• Experience at a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house legal team
• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active MA Bar licensure or the ability to waive in is required
• Outstanding professional references

Position Details Of The Employment Litigation Associate

• Type of role: Associate, permanent hire
• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: Hybrid, onsite Monday -Wednesday in the firm's downtown Boston office

Compensation

• Pay: The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000 based on experience and productivity level. Attorneys who bill beyond the firm’s reasonable billable expectations have the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on a firm-wide formula.
• Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
