Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Linen Services Manager to oversee hospital linen distribution and collection, coordinating with the onsite team and the offsite processing plant to ensure clean, available linens across departments.

You will lead distribution staff, schedule linen workflows, and maintain meticulous records while ensuring OSHA/JCAHO compliance and high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or healthcare support operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties and delegate tasks to distribution staff based on operational needs.
• Plan and schedule the receiving, recording, distribution, and collection of hospital linens.
• Oversee the housekeeping and cleanliness of the linen room and related work areas.
• Conduct general and spot inspections of laundered articles to ensure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO standards.
• Maintain accurate records related to department attendance, production efficiencies, and linen tracking.
• Communicate regularly with hospital departments to gather feedback and address linen service requirements.
• Interview, orient, and train new distribution employees.
• Provide services to departments with unique linen requirements as necessary.
• Report instances of overuse, abuse, or misuse of linens, and recommend actions to management.
