Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Partner to join a national healthcare and life sciences boutique with strong market reach and a flexible hybrid or remote arrangement.

The incoming partner will lead regulatory matters for healthcare and life sciences clients, develop client relationships and contribute to business development within a sophisticated practice.

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant legal experience in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences regulatory work.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required; New York or other jurisdictions are a plus.
• Experience with Stark Law, anti-kickback, False Claims Act, HIPAA and related healthcare regulations.
• Strong legal research, analytical and writing skills with excellent academic credentials.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly and practically.
• Portable business is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Advise healthcare and life sciences clients on complex regulatory and compliance matters.
• Structure and evaluate business arrangements under Stark Law and related statutes.
• Counsel clients on false claims, healthcare fraud statutes, and patient privacy requirements.
• Advise on corporate practice of medicine restrictions and telehealth regulations.
• Evaluate business models and recommend risk-mitigation strategies.
• Prepare change-of-ownership filings, licensing submissions and agency notifications.
• Advise pharmacies and life sciences on drug-supply-chain requirements.
• Lead client relationships and mentor junior attorneys.
• Produce thought leadership and participate in business-development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary is $200,000–$325,000, depending on experience, class year, credentials and relevant healthcare or life sciences expertise. Associates are also eligible for performance‑based bonuses and additional compensation connected to originated business.

Job Details

The incoming partner will advise healthcare and life sciences clients on complex federal and state regulatory requirements, business arrangements, operational compliance and transactional matters. The attorney will have the opportunity to lead client relationships, mentor attorneys and grow an existing practice within a platform that actively supports business development.

The firm generates significant inbound client interest through its established digital presence, thought leadership and industry‑specific content. Qualified leads are distributed to attorneys based on subject‑matter expertise and contributions, providing meaningful opportunities to expand an existing book of business.

The firm may also consider supporting the transition of associates or staff where justified by the incoming partner’s practice.

Representative Responsibilities

• Advising healthcare and life sciences clients on complex regulatory and compliance matters
• Structuring and evaluating business arrangements under the Stark Law, federal and state anti‑kickback statutes and related regulations
• Counseling clients on the False Claims Act, healthcare fraud statutes, HIPAA and patient‑privacy requirements
• Advising on corporate‑practice‑of‑medicine restrictions, professional‑practice requirements and telehealth regulations
• Evaluating existing and proposed business models and recommending practical risk‑mitigation strategies
• Preparing change‑of‑ownership filings, licensing submissions and agency notifications
• Advising pharmacies and life sciences organizations on federal and state drug‑supply‑chain requirements
• Leading client relationships and supervising or mentoring junior attorneys
• Producing thought leadership and participating in business‑development initiatives
