Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to join our health care and life sciences practice in California. You will advise on regulatory, contractual, and compliance matters, and work closely with clients on day-to-day operational issues and sophisticated matters from early in tenure.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in regulated industries or health care, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance for clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a regulated industry practice, health care law, regulatory law, or corporate law.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience advising on compliance, operational, or business matters.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and communicate practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on regulatory, compliance, and operational matters affecting their business activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial, service, vendor, participation, and business agreements.
• Counsel clients regarding contractual relationships, reimbursement structures, and operational business arrangements.
• Analyze and interpret federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Assist clients with compliance initiatives, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support transactional matters, including due diligence, contract review, and regulatory analysis.
• Prepare legal memoranda, client communications, and regulatory guidance materials.
