Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a Learning and Development professional to partner with hospital leaders to assess learning needs and implement organization-wide development programs. You will design content, administer the LMS, and facilitate training for leaders, managers, and staff across facilities.

The role emphasizes consulting with departments to meet development goals, delivering workshops and webinars, and ensuring regulatory training requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, education, nursing, or related field and two years of direct experience in HR facilitation or org development with training/education skills.
• Associates degree in relevant field and two years of direct experience in HR facilitation or org development with training/education skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with managers and internal customers on learning needs and LMS structures.
• Serve as LMS Administrator for education and training materials (live and eLearning).
• Facilitate programs, workshops, and webinars for WVU Medicine employees.
• Manage content development for facility curricula and educational agreements.
• Ensure Joint Commission content and attendance requirements are met for new employees.
• Develop and customize workshops, job aids, and eLearning materials.
• Coordinate student placements and collaborate with partner institutions.
