Job summary

USA Health seeks a Learning Coordinator to manage learner programs and ensure compliant, organized experiences across our Gulf Coast facilities.

You will maintain learner registries, coordinate approvals, and collect required documents while collaborating with legal and department leaders to keep affiliations current.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business, administration, or related field may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate approvals/denials for learners to complete learning experiences within USA Health facilities.
  • Identify learner types and process/coordinate accordingly.
  • Create and maintain a registry of potential learning environments (spaces, preceptors, learner slots).
  • Create and maintain a list of all learners at USA Health.
  • Collaborate with legal/compliance to ensure current clinical affiliation agreements and COIs.
  • Collect required documentation for learners (vaccinations, etc.).
  • Initiate and verify completion of required education/modules for qualified learners.
  • Improve processes for learner coordination and related duties as assigned.
  • Complete department, educational and hospital requirements; adhere to Infection Control and Safety Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Will coordinate with the appropriate persons and/or entities to gain approvals or denials for learners to complete learning experiences within USA Health's facilities.
  • Will identify and be able to discern between student types and understand how to process/coordinate accordingly.
  • Will create and maintain a registry of all potential learning environments (to include spaces, preceptors, and available learner slots).
  • Will create and maintain a list of all learners at USA Health.
  • Will collaborate with USA Health's and other appropriate legal departments to ensure up-to-date clinical affiliation agreements and certificates of liability insurance are current and active for all learners.
  • Will collect appropriate documentation required for student learners (included, but not limited to, vaccinations and other required information).
  • Will initiate the assigning of, and will verify/document the completion of, required education and/or modules for all qualified learners.
  • Will continually create, maintain, and optimize processes for learner coordination.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Staff Development (or other department if moved), including but not limited to, tracking and assigning educational assignments in
  • HealthStream, paperwork associated with ABN CEUs, and other secretarial type duties.
  • Will create and help maintain organized digital files/records for learner coordination, as well as other items for the department.
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned
Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience. Required
  • Bachelor's Degree inhealthcare, business, administration, or a related field will substitute for the required experience. Experience in ahealthcaresetting Preferred
  • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
