Job summary

The University of South Alabama Health System in Mobile, AL seeks a Learning Experience Coordinator to support learner programs across USA Health facilities. You will coordinate approvals, manage learner registries, and collect required documentation to ensure compliant training experiences.

Collaborate with legal, credentialing, and education teams to maintain active affiliation agreements, gather necessary documentation, and streamline module assignments while maintaining infection control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business, administration, or a related field will substitute for the required experience. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with appropriate persons/entities to gain approvals/denials for learners to complete learning experiences within USA Health facilities.
• Identify learner types and process/coordinate accordingly.
• Create and maintain a registry of potential learning environments (spaces, preceptors, learner slots).
• Create and maintain a list of all learners at USA Health.
• Collaborate with USA Health's legal and other departments to ensure up-to-date clinical affiliation agreements and certificates of liability insurance.
• Collect appropriate documentation required for student learners (vaccinations, etc.).
• Initiate assigning and verify/document completion of required education/modules.
• Continuously create, maintain, and optimize processes for learner coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Staff Development.
• Maintain HealthStream and ABN CEU paperwork and other secretarial duties.
• Create and help maintain organized digital files/records for learner coordination.
• Complete all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Safety Standards.
• Regular and prompt attendance; schedule as defined; overtime as required.
• Related duties as assigned.
