Ideal candidates hold a healthcare-related bachelor's, healthcare education experience, and instructor certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
ACLS, PALS and BLS instructor certifications required/upon hire.

Responsibilities

Ensure internal and external regulatory standards or nursing practice are met or exceeded.
Integrate current scientific evidence with standards of practice.
Develop, coordinate, teach and promote American Heart Association resuscitation programs and other National Specialty certifications.
Supervise staff including nursing personnel and instructors.
Manage budgets, resources, and equipment for training programs.
Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety and training effectiveness.
Create an education environment conducive to student learning and staff development.
