Job summary

Munson Healthcare, northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive process improvement across hospitals and clinics. You will facilitate projects, coordinate data collection and analytics, and help implement the Munson Alignment Framework to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field and demonstrated experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Nursing, or other healthcare discipline.
Familiarity with a wide range of Continuous Improvement methodology and tools.
Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees across the organization.
Ability to use data analytics for decision-making; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Facilitate or assist with process improvement activities, initiatives and events.
Apply Lean for Healthcare and other methodologies to improve operations.
Gather data, perform analytics, and report on progress within Munson Alignment Framework.
