Job summary

ImageFIRST is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our healthcare laundry facility. You will drive efficiency, safety, and quality while championing lean initiatives and cost control. Travel to other facilities is expected about 10–15%.

The role requires 5–7 years in a manufacturing leadership position, a Bachelor’s degree, and expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, ERP systems, and laundry processing. Competitive compensation is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or business administration.
• 5–7 years leadership in a manufacturing environment with plant management experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certifications.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Laundry processing experience with line balancing, preventative maintenance, and quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors, maintenance staff, and operations employees to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily plant operations: production scheduling, labor forecasting, staffing, QA, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Drive process improvements using Six Sigma and other CI methodologies.
• Manage plant budgets, expenses, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Drive inventory management and coordinate with Procurement/Service/Logistics.
• Prepare reports for senior management on KPIs and operational challenges.
• Lead recruitment and development, succession planning, and contractor relationships.
• Collaborate with Service teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Travel to other locations or supplier sites as needed (10–15%).
