Job summary

OhioHealth Nutrition Services seeks a Kitchen Utility to support set-up, service and cleanup of food operations. Responsibilities include tray line work, cleaning, sanitation, and inventory replenishment following production sheets.

The role requires no degree, at least one year of food prep or production experience, and the ability to read and follow instructions with basic math. Work shift is variable with 40 scheduled hours per week on-site.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma (Required)
• Must be able to read, write, understand verbal/written instructions and perform basic math calculations
• Proper use of equipment such as knives and mixers
• One year food prep or production experience

Responsibilities

• 40% Cleans and sanitizes trays, dishes, area equipment, walls, exhaust hoods, floors, etc.
• 25% Receives, verifies against order and properly stores food and supplies; rotates stock.
• 20% Sets up workstation, stocks areas, and serves customers; follows recipes and uses equipment.
• 10% Takes and records all temperatures and food safety standards on a schedule.
• 5% Communicates with cooks and staff; other duties as assigned.
