American Senior Communities in Indiana is seeking a Cook for Betz Nursing Home to join our culinary team, preparing and serving nutritious meals while upholding sanitation and food safety standards for residents.

You will follow recipes, lead kitchen staff, maintain clean work areas, and ensure meals meet nutritional needs and state regulations. Prior institutional or healthcare food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification.
• Preferred: Institutional/Healthcare kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares meals meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning, and storage of supplies.
