Brown University Health is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare and portion meals for children and staff in a hospital setting. You will assemble foods, make sandwiches, and occasionally brew coffee for service lines and meetings.

The role requires English literacy, ability to follow instructions, and 2–3 months of related experience. It involves lifting, standing, and daily kitchen tasks with a fixed early-morning schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Two to three months' job related experience.

Responsabilités

• Assemble prepared foods, make sandwiches, and other foods; make coffee as required.
• Prepare between meal nourishment, picnic lunches and bag lunches for night workers and school patients.
• Set up serving line, portion foods, and serve staff or children from the counter.
• Wash and clean fruits and vegetables; shred, dice, or slice as directed.
• Ensure sanitation and clean work areas; report issues to supervision.
