Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years quantity and/or restaurant-style cooking experience required.
• Knowledge of cooking methods and food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
• Experience in food cost and operational control preferred.
• Proficiency with POS and diet management software preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management – 70%: Prepare and serve all products and meals per planned menus and recipe cards; ensure timely service and maintain portion control.
• Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management – 20%: Maintain high quality, sanitize work areas, adhere to infection control practices.
• Customer Relations and Service Delivery – 5%: Support residents and maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Administration and Reporting – 5%: Maintain accurate production orders and logs; follow company standards.
