Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions, based at Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, is seeking a Cook to join our skilled nursing facility kitchen team. Qualifications

• Classically trained & experienced in a high-volume culinary environment.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently cook an assortment of meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner; prepare and portion food products prior to cooking.
• Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure accurate meal prep and delivery.
• Clean the kitchen before and after food service; clean all kitchen equipment.
• Manage inventory and purchasing; rotate stock; develop recipes and ensure compliance.
• Capable of handling last minute requests for special events.
