Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a Cook for the Hot Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center to join our dietary department. We believe breakfast, lunch and dinner should be healthy, delicious and fun, with an enhanced dining program providing culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, hygienic methods of food preparation and storage.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates competency in operating kitchen equipment.
• Moderate to heavy lifting (50-pound maximum), bending, reaching, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-planned cycle menus in an efficient and effective manner.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Ensure foods meet quality, taste and flavor standards and coordinate cooking schedules.
