Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the dietary department at Hot Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team, ensuring culinary excellence and timely service in a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes following production orders, preparing and serving meals, and maintaining sanitation and orderliness across shifts to support patient and resident care.

Qualifications

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Place items such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness
