Qualifications

• Must have current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Experience in cooking for a skilled nursing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read production orders on tray cards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-planned cycle menus efficiently and effectively.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Ensure foods are of high quality in taste and flavor and that trays are ready on time.
• Maintain and improve standards of food storage, preparation, and service.
• Assist in checking food supplies on order forms.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen.
