Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. seeks an experienced instructional designer and trainer to design curricula and training environments for clinical information systems. You will credential other trainers, ensure effective orientation, and optimize workflows; liaise with leaders, end users, and technical teams to support EHR implementations.

The role requires EPIC certification within 6 months, plus 5 years of IT/clinical training experience and strong project management skills in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience combining clinical and IT
• Must be willing to obtain EPIC certification within 6 months and maintain it
• Experience in IT as analyst or trainer in a medium to large organization
• Experience in physician/advanced practitioner clinical information systems support
• Experience in project management, instructional design, presentation, and implementation of an EHR
• Proficient in clinical information systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Promotes integration of technology into clinical and business settings
• Develops training plans and designs instruction for end users
• Initiates and maintains project plan documentation and drives implementation
• Delivers instruction using scenario-based, competency-based methods
• Performs credentialing of other trainers
• Supports change management and continuous improvement
• Acts as primary response to physicians/advanced practitioners
