Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center Inc. in Cullman, AL is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and peripherals, and to resolve user issues to ensure smooth operation.

You will maintain parts and inventory, assist with system setups for new hires, and respond to helpdesk requests after hours during your assigned weeks, all while upholding patient safety and data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
• 1-2 years PC hardware experience.
• Experience with Windows 7/8.1/10 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
• Resolve internal user problems and ensure correct operation of personal computers.
• Maintain parts and inventory, and log all service/repair activity.
• May perform system setups for new hires.
• Work as team player and share other technology duties as assigned.
• Respond to helpdesk requests after hours during assigned weeks.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
