Job summary

Tri-Med Family Care is expanding and seeks an entry-level IT Representative to support daily technology needs at the Dalton, GA site. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage user accounts, and ensure EHR/EMR systems run smoothly for clinicians and staff.

You will work under the IT Coordinator, ensuring HIPAA compliance and data privacy while delivering reliable tech support and maintaining IT equipment across the clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or IT cert a plus
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff
• Reliability and ability to manage multiple requests

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to clinic staff for computers, printers, phones, and IT equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Set up and maintain workstations, monitors, and peripherals
• Assist with user account management (password resets, permissions, new user setup)
• Support and maintain EHR/EMR systems and related software
• Monitor systems for basic security compliance and escalate as needed
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies
• Coordinate with outside vendors or IT support contractors
