Job summary

Empowered For Excellence seeks an IT Specialist to manage software/hardware updates, assist with network tasks, and resolve support issues. You will help secure data storage and educate staff on security best practices, while supporting daily network operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT support or systems administration, experience with Windows and Microsoft 365, and comfort working in a healthcare environment with HIPAA awareness. Office-based role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years IT support or systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare environment.
• Preferred: healthcare or behavioral health experience, EHR, HIPAA and cybersecurity best practices, certifications, telehealth, cloud services (Azure, AWS), HTML/website hosting, domain management.

Responsibilities

• Installing or upgrading software and hardware components.
• Regularly evaluating IT systems to meet demand.
• Assisting with network administration tasks.
• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
• Resolving IT issues for coworkers and providing support.
• Educating coworkers about network security and best practices.
• Supporting daily operations of the computer network.
• Assist with website maintenance, content updates, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with web developers or vendors to ensure site functionality and security.
