Job summary

Coastal Orthopedics seeks an Information Technology Manager to provide onsite IT leadership and oversight across three clinic locations.

The role balances hands-on technology management with strategic planning to support patient care, operations, cybersecurity, and growth. You will partner with leadership and physicians to advance IT initiatives and ensure HIPAA-compliant, reliable systems across all sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of IT leadership or management experience.
• Strong expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, cloud/virtualized environments, Microsoft 365, VoIP, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Proven project management and vendor management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Healthcare IT experience preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and travel between three clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT leadership and oversight across three Coastal Orthopedics clinic locations.
• Lead the strategy, performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Coastal Orthopedics and our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Develop and execute the organization's technology roadmap and IT initiatives.
• Manage network, server, telephony, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI solutions, to improve clinical and operational workflows.
• Oversee IT vendors, budgets, hardware/software procurement, and asset management.
• Support EHR, imaging, and healthcare technology integrations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
• Provide technology guidance and support to executive leadership and physician stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, efficiency, and the overall technology experience for employees across all locations.
