Qualifications

• Strong expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, cloud/virtualized environments, Microsoft 365, VoIP, and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT leadership and oversight across three Coastal Orthopedics clinic locations.
• Lead the strategy, performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Coastal Orthopedics and the MSP.
• Develop and execute the technology roadmap and IT initiatives.
• Manage network, server, telecommunications, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI to improve workflows.
• Oversee IT vendors, budgets, procurement, and asset management.
• Support EHR, imaging, and healthcare technology integrations.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations.

Are you a strategic IT leader who enjoys balancing hands-on technology management with big-picture planning? Coastal Orthopedics is seeking an Information Technology Manager to provide onsite IT leadership and oversight across three clinic locations.

This position is responsible for the strategy, performance, security, and reliability of our technology environment while partnering with leadership, physicians, employees, and external technology vendors. The IT Manager will play a key role in ensuring our systems support exceptional patient care, efficient operations, cybersecurity, and continued growth across all three locations.

What You'll Do

• Provide onsite IT leadership and oversight across three Coastal Orthopedics clinic locations.
• Lead the strategy, performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Coastal Orthopedics and our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Develop and execute the organization's technology roadmap and IT initiatives.
• Manage network, server, telephony, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI solutions, to improve clinical and operational workflows.
• Oversee IT vendors, budgets, hardware/software procurement, and asset management.
• Support EHR, imaging, and healthcare technology integrations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
• Provide technology guidance and support to executive leadership and physician stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, efficiency, and the overall technology experience for employees across all locations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of IT leadership or management experience.
• Strong expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, cloud/virtualized environments, Microsoft 365, VoIP, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Proven project management and vendor management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
• Healthcare IT experience preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and travel between three clinic locations as needed.

Preferred Experience

• EHR, imaging systems, HL7/API integrations, and healthcare data systems.
• SQL reporting and workflow optimization.
• AI technologies, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, SonicWall, or NextGen.

This is an onsite position with responsibility for supporting and overseeing IT operations across three clinic locations. On-call availability (24/7 rotation) and occasional travel between locations are required.
