Job summary

Salem Health in Salem, Oregon, seeks a strategic leader to manage Information Services Systems Operations. You will oversee a ~13-member team across compute, storage, virtualization, databases, and resiliency, driving modernization while maintaining security, reliability, and support for patient care.

This hybrid role requires healthcare IT leadership, budget oversight, vendor management, and collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to sustain optimal tech services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information services or related field.
• Five years of information services experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• Two years of project management experience.
• Five years of experience managing servers, storage, and databases (highly preferred).
• Two years of vendor-management experience (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of infrastructure professionals.
• Oversee server infrastructure across Windows, Linux, UNIX, virtualized, and hybrid environments.
• Lead enterprise virtualization initiatives, including VMware platforms and evolving private cloud technologies.
• Manage storage infrastructure, backup systems, data lifecycle management, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps that align technology investments with organizational goals.
• Drive modernization efforts, including cloud-forward initiatives and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, security, and service reliability.
