Job summary

University of Florida is seeking an IT Generalist I to join the Student Life Technology Services team on Main Campus in Gainesville. You will provide technical support and systems administration for clinical care, pharmacy services, and administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds.
• Requires walking, bending, and crouching to install devices in offices or labs.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and related peripherals.
• Diagnose hardware, operating system, application, authentication, and connectivity problems; resolve incidents.
• Administer AD/Intune/Entra IDs; manage policies and device enrollment; coordinate escalations.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and user access lifecycle.
• Assist with Epic/Citrix access, clinical peripherals, and related systems in coordination with owners and vendors.
