Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking an Application Analyst Associate for its IT Care Manager Support department in Knoxville. Under supervision, you’ll define, implement, and support software applications, interfacing with end-users and IT groups to resolve issues.

You will act as the interface between users, vendors, and operations, build and maintain application master files, and ensure applications are functional and secure. This role emphasizes problem solving and routine reporting.

Qualifications

• AS in computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years Information Systems experience in a client/server environment.
• Experience with application support, testing, and incident resolution is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interface between the user, vendor, and systems programming and operations.
• Build and maintain application master files, tables and parameters.
• Ensure IT applications are functional, available, and meet end-user requirements including testing for defects.
• Determine root cause of application problems and coordinate solutions with appropriate teams and vendors.
• Provide routine and ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Monitor and control systems in a client/server environment per established routines.
• Assist in determining equipment settings and operating instructions and maintain operating records.
• Assist with PC operating systems software and communication system software.
• Perform research, analysis, design, testing, and installation of supported hardware and software.
• Other duties/projects as assigned.
