As a Unit Aide for the surgical team at Banner University Medical Center Tucson, you will help impact patient care directly by providing a clean and risk free surgical environment. You will clean the operating rooms after each surgery, stock the OR's with supplies, transport patients, and other operational tasks as needed. You will have the opportunity to work in a level one trauma facility with varying types of surgical services in a positive team environment that promotes growth and learning. We are looking for someone who is flexible enough to cover full time days on weekends. Shifts are 7am-330pm, 9am-530pm & 11am-730pm. Friday Saturday Sunday, and potentially Mondays. Active BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR Certification is required.
This position is responsible for collection, inventory, cleaning and distribution of medical supplies and patient care equipment for the unit. This position is also responsible for miscellaneous tasks such as transporting patients and supplies, and may include transporting health records, lab specimens and equipment to other areas. This position may provide basic, hands-on, patient care as requested by supervisor.
