Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team in Denver is seeking an Interior Designer with a healthcare focus to lead and mentor the interior design group on projects across the healthcare sector. You will collaborate with architectural teams to conceptualize, develop, and document interior design aspects including space planning, materials, finishes, FF&E, and signage, while coordinating with BIM models and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in interior design, Healthcare experience required.
• Project Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor interior design team and collaborate with architectural teams on healthcare interior design projects.
• Develop space planning, block planning, adjacencies, and interior design concepts.
• Coordinate interior design through sketches, BIM models, diagrams, and construction documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility, and LEED/sustainability guidelines.
• Coordinate with outside consultants to align drawings with design intent.
• Participate in design critiques, workshops, and client discussions to achieve project outcomes.
• Support business development activities and project interviews when required.
• Lead proposals and respond to RFPs with the project team.
