Job summary

Stantec is seeking an architect to support healthcare projects from design through construction administration. You will collaborate with a Project Manager/Project Architect to guide design concepts, coordinate consultants, and manage documentation across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Architecture with 5–10 years of healthcare experience, familiarity with LEED, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM tools. Hybrid office environment in California is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience, preferably on large healthcare or institutional teams.
• Healthcare (OSHPD/HCAI) experience is desired.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager/Project Architect to support all project phases from validation/pre-design through construction administration and close-out.
• Lead teams on medium-size projects and participate in design critiques.
• Develop design concepts, diagrams, and 3D models to communicate intent and meet budget.
• Coordinate building systems, select materials, and ensure design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support contract administration.
