Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a capable architect to support healthcare design projects from validation through construction administration.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Architect, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and owners across multiple projects and phases. You will develop designs using sketches, BIM, and visual models, ensuring design intent, quality, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• ,Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience, preferably on large teams with healthcare or institutional clients.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
• Healthcare (OSHPD/HCAI) experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager/Project Architect to support design through construction documentation and administration.
• Lead one or more teams on medium-sized projects through design concept development.
• Coordinate building systems for design intent and constructability.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and site observations.
• Incorporate sustainable design principles and energy modeling considerations.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to communicate design concepts and progress.
