Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is seeking an Interface Engineer to design, develop, and maintain interfaces linking hospital information systems with laboratory information management systems. You will ensure secure data exchange, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across clinical workflows.

The role requires 10 years of healthcare IT interface experience with Corepoint, HL7 expertise, and strong collaboration with clinical staff and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces using the Corepoint Interface Engine, including 3-5 years' minimum.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, optimize and support Corepoint interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 messaging and data formats (ADT ORM ORU DFT).
• Experience with JSON, XML, CDA and secure transport methods.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, implement and support interfaces exchanging patient and lab data between HIS/EHR and LIMS.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, hospital IT teams and vendors to define specs and solutions.
• Write clear, well-documented code for interface development and integration.
• Conduct testing/QA to ensure data integrity and interoperability.
