Centene Corp. is seeking an Intake Representative I to enter physician requests into the authorization system and support referral workflows. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely processing, and clear communication with providers and patients.

The position requires a High School diploma and may prefer college coursework. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Six months experience in a production/data entry environment in a healthcare-related organization such as managed care, claims/billing, health insurance, customer service, call center, or claims office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Validate patient and provider demographic information.
• Determine eligibility for health care benefits based on patient status and provider type.
• Contact medical providers and patients to move referrals/authorizations forward.
• Follow instructions and redirect patients to provider networks when required.
• Prepare correspondence in business letter format with clinical information for servicing providers.
• Generate letters and reviews to ensure accuracy of provider/patient demographics and service reasons.
• Maintain production reports tracking outcome data and productivity.
• Meet goals by tracking performance and improving processes.
• Identify problems, patterns and solutions to achieve successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service.
