Responsibilities

• Verify insurance plans for all facilities at Texoma Medical Center.
• Call insurance companies to obtain benefits and pre-certification within 24 hours of admission.
• Provide online verification forms to case managers and notify of pending or approved pre-certification.
• Communicate with the case management department.
• Conduct patient registration by interviewing patients or responsible parties to obtain identification and demographics.
• Explain TMC Financial policies and collect patient portions.
