Job summary

TexomaCare, part of Universal Health Services, is a multi-specialty network affiliated with Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX. We are seeking a Charge Entry Specialist to enter patient demographics, insurance details, and charges into our health information system and ensure accuracy in billing.

You will reconcile charges and payments, resolve denials, and support timely claim submission in a collaborative office environment in Denison.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Technical School or 2-year college/associates degree preferred.
• 1 year data entry or healthcare experience required.
• Healthcare billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and insurance submission helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient demographics, insurance data, and charges into the health information system.
• Reconcile charges and payments; resolve rejections and denials related to registration and authorizations.
• Support accuracy and efficiency in billing processes.
