Job summary

CVS Health in Washington, DC is seeking an Informatics professional to support and enhance reporting, data integration, and application processes. You will troubleshoot, deploy reports, and maintain SSIS packages, collaborating with technical and business teams.

The role requires strong SQL Server skills, experience with SSRS/Power BI, and automation of deployments. A Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in application support, database support, informatics, or a related technical role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS package development, support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting and deploying SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards.
• Experience using Visual Studio for development and maintenance activities.
• Experience with GitHub or similar source control tools.
• Experience with enterprise scheduling tools and job failure troubleshooting.
• Programming experience with VB.NET and C#.
• Experience deploying database objects like stored procedures.
• Experience ETL between production systems, vendor files, and internal DBs.
• Experience with secure file transfer processes such as SFTP.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot SSRS, Power BI reports, SSIS packages, and data processes.
• Deploy SSRS and Power BI reports per team standards and deployment practices.
• Automate deployment of stored procedures to team databases.
• Develop and support SSIS packages and load vendor data into team databases.
• Support scheduled jobs and enterprise scheduling processes; identify and resolve issues.
• Update and maintain team-developed applications to support processes.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support reliability of reporting, databases, and applications across the environment.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and process consistency.
