CP01 Carilion Medical Center in Roanoke is looking for an HVAC Specialist who will maintain, repair, and install HVAC and related systems. The specialist will ensure reliable facility operations while leading projects and compliance with hospital codes.

The role requires robust HVAC experience, a good understanding of BAS programming, and skills in documentation and technical guidance. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a trade or vocational school preferred.
• Five years of HVAC experience in commercial or healthcare related maintenance required.
• Appropriate level CFC Certification required.
• Good understanding of BAS programming and automated building control.
• Ability to maintain required records and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze/evaluate, repair and install facility HVAC & R and BAS systems.
• Lead specialty projects related to HVAC & R and BAS installations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Document and maintain all required records and information pertinent to assignments.
• Provide training and technical updates to other department staff.
