Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an Experienced HVAC & R Specialist for the Roanoke campus. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC & R and BAS systems, and supervise installations as needed to ensure reliable facility operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of BAS programming, compliance with hospital codes, and the ability to manage preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. A Virginia driver’s license and CFC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework in blueprint reading, mathematics and physics with HVAC & R focus preferred.
• Five years HVAC & R experience in commercial or healthcare maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility HVAC & R and BAS systems as directed.
• Oversee and perform preventative maintenance and installations of HVAC & R equipment.
• Ensure code compliance for all HVAC & R work and document activities.
