Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in HVAC or equivalent experience.
• EPA Type 1 and Type 2 certification required.
• 5–15 years of relevant experience depending on licensure.
• Basic HVAC design calculations and understanding of DDC control systems.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems with ability to analyze and repair.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair various HVAC equipment per codes and specifications.
• Assist or lead in installation of mechanical air conditioning systems.
• Inspect electrical equipment (≤480V) for functionality and safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning systems and document paperwork.
• Read blueprints, project specs, and technical docs to determine installation needs.
