Lincoln Surgical Hospital / Nebraska Surgery Center is seeking a skilled HVAC-R Technician to join the Facilities team. The role supports maintenance, repair, and optimization of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across multiple healthcare facilities.

The position requires HVAC-R certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC-R certification is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Commercial HVAC-R experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions in HVAC and refrigeration systems to identify repairs or replacements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Operate and maintain HVAC systems using diagrams and manuals.
• Inspect and maintain air handling units, boilers, chillers, VAV systems, and related components.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Provide guidance on proper operation of HVAC-R equipment.
