Charon Shared Services in Lincoln, NE is seeking a skilled HVAC-R Technician to join our Facilities team supporting Lincoln Surgical Hospital and related centers. This full-time role offers day shifts with 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

and requires diagnosing, maintaining, and operating HVAC and mechanical systems across multiple sites. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and independent work.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC-R certification is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Commercial HVAC-R experience is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Mansioni

• Diagnose malfunctions in HVAC and refrigeration systems to identify repairs or replacements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and building equipment.
• Operate and maintain HVAC and mechanical systems using diagrams and manuals.
• Handle general maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and maintain equipment including air handling units, boilers, chillers, valves, thermostats, and VAV systems.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available to complete tasks efficiently.
• Provide guidance on proper operation of HVAC-R equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
